PROJECT INFO
Pan-Pacific’s participation in the addition to the architectural
department of Woodbury University included a 19,000-square-foot
structure which houses two floors of studio and critique space in an
open arrangement. Inside the building, exposed interior
construction and plumbing systems serve as teaching tools for
tomorrow’s architects and provided Pan-Pacific with the unique
challenge to install our systems with meticulous attention to design
and detail for both ascetic and educational purposes.

Through the Design-Build process, Pan-Pacific’s Preconstruction
team was able to suggest many sustainable ideas to aid in the
LEED Certification process. For example, we suggested and
installed recycled materials such as cast iron pipe and fittings, dual-flush
water closets and ultra-low flush urinals to reduce water usage
and storm water mitigation to minimize rain water runoff that goes
into the storm drains.
